St. Elizabeth Mission Society

Making a Difference . . .

In the past year, the Mission Society provided a total of $122,500 in program support. The Board awarded 13 grants totaling $60,500 to organizations with actively engaged Franciscan Sisters and Associates in the United States, Bolivia, Brazil and Jamaica. Additionally, the Mission Society provided $52,800 in monthly support to the missions.

Our Mission

St. Elizabeth Mission Society is an organization that supports the ministry of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany to the economically poor both at home and abroad.

In the implementation of this mission, the Society:

Proclaims the Gospel message through the works of the Sisters and their partners; publications; and presentations
Networks with others in addressing global needs
Exercises responsible stewardship of the resources provided by benefactors
Provides spiritual benefits for enrolled members and benefactors
